About the Journal

The Pakistan Journal of Health Psychology (PJHP) is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge at the intersection of psychology, health, and well-being. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate original research, theoretical contributions, systematic reviews, and evidence-based perspectives addressing psychological factors associated with health, illness, healthcare, and quality of life.

PJHP welcomes interdisciplinary research exploring areas such as health behavior, mental health and well-being, stress and coping, psychological assessment and intervention, behavioral medicine, chronic illness, health promotion, patient experiences, psychosocial determinants of health, and the application of psychological science in healthcare settings.

The journal aims to promote scientifically rigorous and ethically responsible scholarship with relevance to Pakistan and the wider international community. By encouraging research that connects psychological theory with health-related practice and policy, PJHP seeks to contribute to improved understanding of human health and support the development of effective, culturally responsive approaches to health and well-being.
